Friends Group

The Friends of the Camargo Township District Library was established over 20 years ago. Throughout the years they have raised thousands of dollars to support our library. They have many annual fundraisers, with a few extras here and there.

The Friends group is a wonderful group of people who really care about our library. They generously give of their time and resources to raise money to help make our library better.

The Friends have purchased and help purchase many needed items for our library including; The laminator, the copier, cabinets, supplies, craft items, computers, and too many items to list.

Here are a few of their fundraisers:

Easter Basket Raffle, a basket full of goodies,

Annual Bake sale, breads, cookies, pies, and pastries of all sorts,

Ag Days Grab-bags sold for a $1.00 in front of library

Fall Candle Sale, Harvest Moon Candles by Susan Johns these are great candles

Cookie Sale always the weekend before Thanksgiving

Christmas Basket Raffle, basket full of Christmas goodies

There are a few things the Friends do when they can: They have a Mystery Play in the Spring, Christmas House Walks, & Garden Walks when they are able to get enough participants.
